Computing Resources for ARC Students
New Services offered:
Students registered for our services can bring their laptops in to our department to help resolve computer problems. If possible ARC staff will install anti-virus software (Symantec Endpoint Protection) free of charge, and help diagnose computer problems. This service is limited to software problems only. We cannot repair or replace hardware, or reinstall software without proper licenses.
Computer Lab in Mesa Vista Hall:
7 Windows 7 Computers
1 Macintosh Computer
1 Laserprinter
Software includes MS Office 2010, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Jaws, ZoomText, Kurzweil 3000, SPSS
In addition our testing rooms have up to 4 PCs per room available for student use when not used for testing, and our advisement staff have computing facilities available for student use on a first come basis.
Computer Lab Alice Clark room in Zimmerman Library:
3 Windows 7 Computers
1 Windows XP Computer
1 Flatbed Scanners
1 Sheet Feed Scanner
1 Laserprinter
ARC also makes 2 private study rooms available in Zimmerman Library, these small rooms contain Windows based computers with Dragon Naturally Speaking software installed, along with MS Office, printing is not available from these rooms.
